LunazStarr Design began in 2004 by Melissa Betancur, a native New Yorker, currently employed with Deutsch Inc. as a Project Manager.  She has  been working in the advertising industry since 2004 with various agencies, such as Bauer Publications, Publicis, BBDO, AdStream, Kubin Nicholson, Pernod Ricard USA, among many others. Melissa’s education and experience in conjunction with her unique innovative approach to creative design enables her to contribute significantly toward her clients objectives. Melissa’s background includes a B.F.A. in Visual Communications / Digital Design.  She is proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator as well as other key graphic software. 

LSD’s assignments vary from high-profile, high-visibility, nationally disseminated products to low-key advertisements; onsite photography and designing of promotional materials.  Responsibilities entail but are not limited to communicating regularly with advertisers, agencies and appropriate sales staff regarding any special situations in regards to their advertising.  LSD is responsible for coordinating print projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control; proofreading for style and grammar; and interacting with clients of all platforms.
